When I was about 6 year old I saw my mom crocheting and wanted to do it too. She told me that I was "too little"....wrong answer....lol. I insisted and eventually surpassed her skill level. As a teen, I took sewing classes and later taught myself the basics of knitting. I became interested in quilting after I retired and became the primary care-giver for my 90 year old mom.
