I learned to sew and knit from my mother whose aunts (late 1800's to early1900's) were dressmakers to the "gentry" and taught her well.
In 1993 a dear deceased friend got me hooked on beading which is my favorite sport.One of my fun things to do is knit socks with lots of beads .I get stopped in the oddest places to be asked "do you sell those?"I do not...they are for my own pleasure, and knitted for a few special people.

I am a retired nurse anesthetist retired for many years, the mother of five children and very recently widowed after 57 great years. I am very active in my church where I have friends sent only by God .
Currently I live life one day at a time, some good and some like today totally unmotivated and long.
