I started seriously crafting when I was a mother with 3 small children. I had a landlady that was from Amsterdam Holland and had lived in Holland during the German Nazi occupation. She knitted and took me under her wing and taught me about knitting and life. After that I was hungry for all kinds of creative crafts.
