I love to sew. My Dad wanted me to take every sewing class available when I was young and I did. I made many of my own clothes as a teenager. I sewed for my first two children and always had a desire to sew more but never was able to sew as much as I wanted. My five children are grown. I was always facinated with quilting but afraid to tackle it on my own. About a year ago, My wonderful husband has created an awesome space for me to create. I took a class at a local quilt show a year ago and made my first "Real" Quilt for my Mother last Mother's Day. Then I discovered Craftsy! I am enjoying this website so much! I have several projects going and hope to get back to working on them on a regular basis. I sew baby clothes for the Bereavement Unit a local hopspital and have started quilts for my granddaughters. I was instrumental in getting the ladies of my church to make lap quilts for a local nursing home. These type of projects are so rewarding.
