I have always loved to make things. My grandmother on Dad's side of the family taught me to embroider and she made quilts. My great-grandmother on Mom's side sewed, quilted, and crocheted pillowcase lace edgings without a pattern. My great-grandmother on Mom's side sewed, quilted, and crocheted pillowcase lace edgings without a pattern. Mom taught my Brownie troop to knit and crochet when I was a kid, and she sewed, knitted, crocheted, painted ceramics. I was doomed to be a crafter from the womb. I have added lotion making to the family arsenal of crafting interests, and I love to write fiction and poetry. I need someone to invent at least one more day per week so I can craft without that pesky job getting in the way.
