I'm an artist at heart but besides knitting, my other joys are nature, animals & dogs. I have a Westie & a Cardigan Welsh Corgi who are both rescues. They are the joy of our lives & have also become my service dogs & love helping me. They pick up anything I need & alert me before seizures hit.
My first project, other than a scarf, was a sweater for my Westie. He's wearing it in my icon photo. He doesn't have true Westie "double coat" hair to shed the snow, so I decided to knit him one & he loves to wear it! With his chronic pancreatitis it's hard to keep his weight up, so the sweater's perfect. The Corgi is our resident squirrel & bird wrangler and takes her job seriously - but squirrels are her favorite!
I'm really enjoying this coarse, and even chose to do my 1st real shawl in laceweight --- and it's going great thanks to Laura's wonderful instructing : D
