I started making embroidered dolls in the mid eightys following major surgery. That led me to creating many sewing crafts. I still sew craft projects, and at 54 am wanting to learn the art of quilting. As a child I would sit with my Mother and her lady friends around the quilting frame and quilt by hand with them. Tips, suggestions, or any information on how to gain courage to take the step to learn this fascinating craft is welcomed. You all certainly inspire me.
