Alright maybe not in the sense we think of it today, but when I was growing up, we didn't have computers and some of the things that make doing projects for school considerably easier so we had to "think outside the box." Report covers made out of saran wrap; using windows in the house as tracing or light boxes; things like that. My mom tried to teach me how to sew when I was young, but had a difficult time because all teenagers "know" how to do things. I picked up sewing again about 10 years ago. Raising my daughter, I have done a lot of different crafts with her. I enjoy sculpting and beadwork as well.
