I learned to knit, sew, crochet and embroider from my grandmothers and mother when I was young. I later knitted and sewed for my children. Now that we live in sunny Queensland, Australia, there is not really a need for knitting any more! I am now a grandmother and I am experiencing a new surge of interest for patchwork quilting and appliqué for my little grandson. I am also loving the contact with the lovely quilting community on-line!
