I learned to knit as a young girl at a shoppe in Simi Valley, CA. My first step-mother, Barbara, took me. My first project was a pair of aqua slippers. I also learned to crochet. I stopped. I picked up my crochet hooks in my 30s. In my 40s, I joined a knitting circle where the most important thing I learned is that natural fibers are best. Thanks Alice & Foekje!! I also do counted cross stitch.
