Bag-Making Basics: Reversible Tote & Zipper Pouch »
Instructions
My first zipper didn't turn out well, so for my second one I cut the fabric an inch wide and hand basted the zipper on and it turned out great!Difficulty:
Category: Sewing
Type of item: Functional
For: Home
Style: Classic
Materials
fat quarters of quilting fabric, interfacing and a zipper.
What was your inspiration?
This craftsy class!
What are you most proud of?
This was my first zipper ever!!!! I'm so glad I was able to do it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I made the fabric an inch longer and the cut it to the correct size after sewing on the zipper. The glue didn't work for me so I hand stitched the zipper loosely on before going over to the sewing machine.
