These are very nice colors, i love that you can even see that there is a shine in the pottery vase/ jug Very natural lights and darks in the leaves., and looking through a window into more garden?

Hi Nancy -- yes -- these tulips and vase were in a window in my studio, and the backdrop was a yard with pine trees. I didn't want it to predominate, but I wanted people to have the sense this was in a window on a beautiful day.

Hi Acrylic Guy -- do you know you can use acrylics like watercolors? ;-) I live about an hour from Golden, makers of Golden Acrylics, and now QoR watercolors. They're great about demonstrating all the phenomenal stuff going on in acrylic -- I'm a fan of acrylics, too. (oh, and I love oil painting)
