What materials did you use? For my coneflower, I used cotton fabric from my stash. It's a glue basted applique technique although at times I think it looks a bit like piecing.

Thanks Kaydebee! I have been doing a lot of practice on both small and large items. Yes I do love the classes-in fact I have signed up for so many I don't have time to finish them! But it's a long winter up here in PEI Canada so I'm sure there will be lots of quilting going on in this house!
