What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan ahead. Know what to expect as an end product. Have an open mind concerning learning new stitches. Make it your own: choose your own materials, stitches, and pattern. Give yourself several months to finish, especially since some embroidery stitches can make your fingers extra sore. Enjoy yourself.

What are you most proud of? This is my first-ever completed quilting and embroidery project. Though there are a few mistakes that are quite obvious, it was an overall success that I am proud of. It's warm and soft and visually pleasing.

What was your inspiration? I made this throw for my hubby, who loves WVU sports. I had an idea and a simple pattern in mind before beginning.
