What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make a pair of leg warmers and decided to start smaller to see if I would be able to carry a pattern over a leg. What resulted were a pair of really cute wrist warmers!

What are you most proud of?

I love the look of them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use any stitch you like and have a ball with it!

could you add a few more rows and make them with a thumb opening?

You sure can. These are worked in a rectangle and sewn up the side so there is a lot of room for experimenting with thumb openings and length. I've even sewn them completely up the side and let my daughters use the crocheted slanted opening for a thumb opening! Make a pair and try it either way--that's the fun of this project!!
