What was your inspiration?
I made this bible marker for my mom, for her term as Worthy Grand Matron in Eastern Star (OES). "I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalms 16:8" She chose both the pattern and the verse. This project was very difficult, due to the complexity of the pattern, and that to fit the size of a bible, I had to stitch over one thread!
What are you most proud of?
That I completed this at all. I think I poked my fingers more with this project than with any other I've ever done!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure that your pattern will adjust easily if you're changing size for your project. Some patterns aren't fit to reduce to smaller sizes, and the change can cause problems with the pattern itself, making it difficult, if not impossible, to stitch on a smaller scale. And keep your patience! :)
