Materials

Red Heart Super Saver acrylic yarn, 2 3 oz skeins, size 6 and 8 24" circulars, size 6 9" circular, crochet hook, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needle.

What was your inspiration?

My Mom and Grandmom, both of blessed memory, from Texas. The color represents the yellow rose of Texas, their home state.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my ability to use my new knitting skills. I was able to pick up and knit the underarms to eliminate the holes, then knit and purl two together to decrease to the necessary number of stitches to complete the underarms.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Relax and enjoy yourself! The project is quick, easy, and fun!
