Susan Khalje Couture Dress and Gertie's Bombshell Dress online classes.
My support from my instructor Trudy Jansen or Trudy Jansen Designs.

How about a retro bombshell dress couture style!

What are you most proud of?

That I am going to tackle this advanced project with my Intermediate Beginner sewing status. Could not do this without my expert class instructor. That I stuck to it. Had to try and find the perfect pattern and fit for my body. Muslins I did 4 bodice muslins and 6 muslins of cups. Made my own bust pads.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch and do up muslins of both of the Susan and Gerties dresses. I did a Couture dress with Susan and did a muslin of a bustier with Gertie.

Wow Scheri this is a huge undertaking. I am tired just thinking about all your muslins! You always have the best fabric. I just bought some great silk at an Indian Fabric store in town. They sell silk in a pkg of three cordinating colors. 2 prints of 3 yards and 2 yards of a light scarf material. You might want to check it out if you have an Indian community in your area. .Hope you got some fun plans for this bomb shell dress.
