I wouldn't recommend this pattern. If I didn't know how to sew, I would have never been able to figure it out. The designer missed steps and made it out to be more complicated than it actually is. And it needs to be made out of heavy fabric or it won't support the wine bottles.

What was your inspiration?

My friends wanted to make one and one of them had a catalog with this pattern in it.

What are you most proud of?

That I could follow the pattern and fill in the missing steps. I also added some firmness to the bottom with peal-and-stick floor tile.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I love the final product -- and the way the pattern designer made the divider is genius -- but it's not for the faint of heart.
