What was your inspiration?
Empty windows and my love of grannies. I took down my Christmas decor last night, and everything looked so drab. The sun hasn't been out in days, so I decided to make a little sunshine of my own. I made a granny and hung it in the window. Pleased, I looked on Youtube for a circle-centered granny and found a vid by Michael Sellick. So I did a few more. Very easy-peasy, and my windows now make me smile. :)
What are you most proud of?
Brightening up my windows with stuff I already had at home--leftover acrylic yarn!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun playing with color! Festoon your home with grannies!!
