What materials did you use? I used a plain dark purple and very busy pansies in bloom materials. I used quilting cotton fabrics.

What are you most proud of? I am self taught and l love that I can follow the video instructions and make new creations. I am now working on Jacobs ladder. I never thought I could do this, but the jelly roll quilting class has inspired me to try my hand at this. I didn't think I could do a star quilt, but I did. I just need to work on sharpening my skills in doing mitred corners.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a very easy project for first timers because it uses layer cakes that are large to work with. This is a project that will make you feel successful because you can see your end project in a short time. Remember to have fun while you are quilting and use your imagination!
