What was your inspiration?
had an old pine plate rack and a pine sideboard - and I wanted a painted dresser - so, screwed one to the other, painted,distressed and waxed it - and hey presto. Haven't quite finished yet!
What are you most proud of?
Cost peanuts!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use a solid piece of furniture that will last centuries and you can't go wrong - and you can always change the colour when you get fed up. Here I used 'Fawn' by Farrow and Ball
