What are you most proud of? My courage! I took 8" out of the circumference, including the dropped shoulders, and 4" off the length. I crfocheted the four steeks and then cut them. My first steeks ever! Then I cut 4" off the bottom of each piece, seamed everything back together, picked up the bottom stitches and bound off properly, and voila! the second thing I'm most proud of is it fits perfectly, The third thing is, it looks original and unmodified and once again it's my beloved favoriate. I fully intend to wear this sweater to a raveling, no matter how many years that takes.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid, little knitter! Carols' instructions are so clear and unambiguous and reassuring, she makes it easy even if you have never held a sweater in one hand and scissors in the other. Your fear is your biggest obstacle. You have only a sweater to gain!

How ambitious you are! Congratulations on such a beautiful "surgery" success as well as your new, healthy body success. Kudos on both counts!

Excellent job! Looks custom made. And so much better fitting and more attractive than the largest version of the sweater. Great job in making all of those cables. Very nice sweater
