Type of item: Functional
Style: Whimsical, Traditional, Classic
Hand-dyed fabric(made by me), chip board, glue, Arches 140lb cold press paper, card stock, high quality printing paper
What was your inspiration?
I want to start a journal and I dabble in watercolors. I thought it would be fun to make one and use my hand-dyed fabrics.
What are you most proud of?
The whole thing really but I love the paper I made (or rather designed?) for the writing sections. I made the lined pages using very high quality printing paper and using Corel drew the lines very close together.
There are 12 signatures (sections). Six watercolor and six lined journal sections so you can not only make illustrations on the watercolor paper but also use it as a written diary.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun! And use it! As you can see I haven't yet but I'm going to very soon!
Any ideas for closures?
