What was your inspiration?

I love any thing to do with summer, or the ocean. This will hang in my bathroom that has a tropical theme.

What are you most proud of?

I was able to stitch the outline of the flip flops. I had to free hand in some of the lines and it turned out nice.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give it a whirl, it was fun to make, and you never have enough flip flops.

I am wanting to do a flip flop valance for a bedroom in our Florida home. I love your flip flop,

Thanks, there were pretty easy to do. It wouldn't be hard to work these into a valance. The pattern is in that magazine and you could scale them down if you needed too. That sounds like a great idea for a valance.

My goodness I thought you had actually made a pair of slippers/flipflops. This is fabulous, well done.
