A friends wedding
What are you most proud of?
the way it turned out. Bride was thrilled with it. Its been made about two months but had to wait until they were actually married before I could post it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
give it a go. Take your time as satin is hard to work with, as I found out. and silk thread isnt the easiest to work with either.
This project was hand appliqued (the hearts) including the large hearts around their names. I found the embroidered writing hard to get it in the right place. as the satin moves around a lot. Also the little hearts are done with silk thread, there was a lot of undo and redo. As I wanted as near perfect as I could get it.
