What are you most proud of? colours and quality of the finishing

What advice would you give someone starting this project? allow enough time for the saucer and teapot handle to dry to get a nice shape

Absolutely beautiful. I collect tea pots.

Hi, I absolutely love this design! I was wondering if you would share how you got the tablecloth to sit so beautifully, and with the cutouts too? Thank you in advance!

no problem , i rolled a sheet of sugarpaste in round shape larger then the size of the cake ( 13"+5") on a large mat , then i 've peeled the sheet over the cake making sure to match the centre of the sheet with the centre of the cake . before to place the table cloth on the cake i've used some PME eyelet cutters :-) hope that helps

Lovely design. May I ask what size cakes you used for the tea pot and table please?

02/05/2014 Flag

pot was carved using an 8" vanilla cake and the base was a 13" chocolate cake :-)

02/17/2014 Flag
