Fine Swiss cotton batiste, and also french cotton lace.
What was your inspiration?
I am now a grandmother of twins!!! and for sure they are my inspiration!!!! a boy and a girl!!!! what else could I wish for??? so, for my little, very premature Victoria, I made this "ropon" that is done with much love...every single stitch....a rose for her little head, and baby knitted shoes for her blessed feet.
What are you most proud of?
Of handleling such small dress.......Love it!!! this is the begining of a new wonderfull time for my hands!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience.....just do not rush, and make sure you will hand baste before you go into the machine and if things are not properly place (like the lace) you are risking damaging the dress.
