Valentine's Day Amigurumi Owl

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
Nelson the Owl »

Instructions

I was using stash for this project and so it turned out I did not have enough MC to finish both wings. To compensate I (roughly) split the pattern instructions for the wings in half and crocheted them flat (2 in pink, and 2 in white) - then I whip-stitched each pair together (right sides facing) and then turned them inside out before attaching to the body.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Toy

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Holiday, Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Lion Brand Baby's First in Pale Rose Pink, Crisp White, Soft Blue Green, and Soft Pea Green. Lion Brand Baby Wool in Light Lemon Yellow. (stash red yarn unknown)

What are you most proud of?

This is the first time I've ever crocheted an amigurumi project and I'm really happy with how it came out overall.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time and get the workshop so you can ask Stacey to help if you get stuck!
