What was your inspiration?
I saw an old couple, walking through the park, arms entwined. It was just such a lovely thing to see.
What are you most proud of?
The simplicity of the pattern yet it looks so lovely. I think this would make an excellent little rug on which to put the wedding rings ata wedding, or for an anniversary or Valentines day or just because you like hearts.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You do not have to patch the background - you can use one piece. The pattern also includes directions for making scrappy binding - which again is really easy yet looks so good.
