What was your inspiration?

This is my first Tunisian project and a good one for learning.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I needed a quick project for my new cousin so I decided to do this using two strands. I decided not to do the last two rows of the boarder and just finished off with a forward and reverse row of tunisian and a row of sc. Clean finish.

Nice warm blanket for winter and fun to do.

I found it very easy and did not get tangled too much whilst getting use to the long hook. I made a couple of mistakes by not collecting three loops on the return row, and unfortunately they werent picked up until the following row, but they cant be seen really. I should have done the border in the back loop, realising that if i had followed this instruction is would have sat much flatter, but overall it was a fun, easy project which taught me alot.

This so pretty! Lucky baby! I'm trying to learn tunisian crochet and find inspiration by looking at other's work.

I was wondering if there is a way to print off the directions. This is a cute blanket and I have never done anything with the tunisian stitch.

I bought "Its Time to Crochenit" from Annies Attic and received the e-book by download. Click on the pattern link and you should go directly to the product page. Both Annie's Attic and Stitch Diva have a lot of designs and instruction on Tunisian/Crochenit. It is fun to do.

I have downloaded a couple of PDFs from Annie's Attic which have given me enough information to pick up this technique. It is also referred to as Crochenit but I cant see any difference. Also, there are great tutorials on line such as Stitch Diva. I didnt find it difficult once I had the correct tools.
