What was your inspiration?

I am almost always inspired by color and pattern. When I came across this tunic pattern, I knew that I had to use Amy Butler's Geisha Fans fabric to make one! It's a great garment for showing off special fabric.

What are you most proud of?

I really like how it fits and I think the pockets turned out super cute! (You can't see them in the photos.) It felt good being able to complete this tunic without any troubles despite limited instructions.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I suggest you have an idea of how to sew sleeves to a bodice and how to apply bias tape.

Thanks! It seems most of the garments I sew end up being made with Amy Butler fabric. :) You can never go wrong with AB fabric!

A little late in my reply, but thanks! I think we should get together to make tunics this fall!
