What materials did you use? Worsted weight yarn (Sweet Paprika Staccato, 1 skein each in Northern Sky, Red Canoe, Shady Grove and Natural.)

What are you most proud of? I'm really happy with the way the edges turned out. With some double-knitting techniques you end up with a selvedge that uses both yarns together, which can look good too, but wasn't what I wanted for this project. I fiddled around with it and came up with a way to keep the stripes looking very clean instead.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid of double-knitting, it's really simple once you get started! I held one yarn in my right hand and one in my left to knit this, which was a bit slow at first but I got used to it quickly. I found that it made a big difference to my tension which hand was holding the front yarn and which was holding the back, so if you're having problems getting equal tension on both sides switching hands might help.
