What are you most proud of? The designs mostly look OK and the stippling is not bad!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? still need to work on spacing, starting after a stop & straight lines I'll want to make a similar project to try out some ideas for varying some of these designs. I made this quilt a rectangle by doing a 8 x 6 layout and eliminated one of my least favorite of the designs in the class.

Curious to know which design was your favorite and the most fun of all?

I loved the McTavishing! Actually just about any of the swirling, flowing designs work for me - not so happy about the ones with jagged straight lines. I also love the designs based on the paisley shape.

I'm looking forward to trying McTavishing. Leah's designs that are swirling and more free flowing are the most fun to do. Seems like they are more pleasing to the eye too. Some of the straight line ones are fun though like circuit board. I thought that was a hoot!

Love the colors and it should be easy to do

I have so got to do this one. I am just a newbie of a couple months doing fmq but I really like it and Leah Day is the best. Great work!

Thank you! This is a great class! Leah has taught me so many great motifs. I have this hanging in my sewing room so I can refer to it when looking for a fun quilting pattern.

You have some really nice material and I come to read that they are your dyed fabrics, congratulation, very beautifull

Thanks so much! I think I'll try dying some more when the garage warms up.
