Materials
I used a green and maroon toile printed cotton fabric with a contrasting green lawn border. Invisible zip on the side.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make a pleated skirt so this was an experiment. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I had to use my math brain to work out the spacing and the number of pleats. It was a great challange. I also practiced my invisible zip technique.
What are you most proud of?
This was a fun project to make as I made it up as I went along. Pleating was fun and I really enjoyed the process. My zip turned out perfect so am very happy!!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun have your math brain switched on!!!
