What are you most proud of? Was surprised at how easy the afterthought heel was to insert. The fit is wonderful.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The Craftsy class was fun and Donna made it very easy to follow along.

Thank you for your kind feedback. Just cast on another pair of toe-ups with a different toe. Hint: This is Donna's favourite toe. I really like it. Keep you posted.

Hello MoniS, Just to let you know that I used one of the fair isle motifs from the book Around the World in knitted socks by Stephanie Van der Linden (pictured on cover) to create this toe up sock with afterthought heel.

Beautiful sock design! The pattern reminds me of some traditional mitten patterns from the England. What toe did you use in your design?

Thank you Rose Mae, I used the basic toe up wedge that Donna demonstrates in the class for my first attempt at the toe up sock. Used one of the fair isle motifs from the book Around the World in knitted socks by Stephanie Van der Linden (pictured on cover) to create this toe up sock with afterthought heel.
