Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: My sister asked me to make a replica of Tim's 1939 Buick Special for his birthday. I took Mike's Classic Cars class and got a ton of tips and info to help me out with this project! LOVED the class! I used a classic white cake and the buttercream cake from Mike's class. Very tasty stuff by the way! I used the red Satin Ice fondant and I do not have an airbrush so I dry brushed the color on. Used the Red Velvet color dust. Took the cake outside on a table and dusted it out there so I could get all the excess off without making a mess all over my kitchen ;-). Super fun class... and the cake was a huge hit!
What are you most proud of? When we served the cake everyone said it was even better tasting... that compliment always makes me smile!
