Instructions

Enjoy making fun crafts using Tilda books. Use quality supplies and they will look much better.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Mod, Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Linen or flannel fabric, bear pattern from Tilda's book, floss in pink and black, tap needle, wadding/stuffing, cotton for clothes, fleece for sweaters, thread, sewing machine, ribbon for Momma's head, plenty of patience. These bears will be sold on my etsy at purejoybylin in a few weeks.

What was your inspiration?

Looking through her books again! Found this bear. Made the little one first and then added 1/2 inch around the pattern and made Mama. She is about as tall but much larger. Use a small ruler and add 1/4 to 1/2 inch around every piece including the sweater. Just make a skirt to watch the shorts on baby. That's all there is to it!

What are you most proud of?

Tone Finannger! She is the best out there......for design and sharing her talent and I adore her!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun with them and make them your own.

Thank you. They took three days and the Mama was an after thought. I think they turned out okay.
