What was your inspiration?

My Dad served in the Coast Guard and so, I was a Coast Guard Brat - and traveled to a few different places. My Dad's first deployment was on a lighthouse- and so, my Mom collects lighthouses...and when I came across this Coast Guard symbol and lighthouse fabric - I knew I had to make some pillows for her.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I have something to last awhile that imparts the Coast Guard/Lighthouse theme for my Mom to enjoy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's pretty easy, so go for it - and have fun!
