What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun.

Love the blue, I really need to sit down and do this class. I love the ones I have seen. Do you need a lot of specialty threads and stuff? Did you just use stuff you already had?

I had a few things, but once I got started and thought of all the possibilities, I went out and bought more pearl cotton, ribbon and satin cord so I could have a lot of variety. I'm normally a "classic" quilter but now I can imagine embellishing parts of a quilt with these techniques. The online class was great; her teacing is very clear and easy to follow.

My favorite BLUE - haha - I have to laugh because I have quite a few friends who say they are "classic" quilters and when you give them this type of project suddenly they come out of the quilt cabinet! LOL - Beautiful
