What was your source for this piece? Improvisational

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I don't like to draw before I paint. I like to just get into it already. My boyfriend and I joke about our cats having human personalities. This idea came up and I couldn't help myself. I wanted a ridiculous painting of our cats to hang in the hallway. With an hour and a half to spare I applied acrylic to the canvas in an improvised fashion and boom...painting accomplished.

Is the piece for sale? No

What are you most proud of? Style-wise this isn't what I normally paint. I'm usually more of a realist painter. So I guess I'm proud of myself for letting go of my comfort zone and painting something a little less serious. I'm also proud of my boyfriend's sense of humor which led to this painting. (Hash tag "teamwork")
