What was your inspiration?

I got the idea from this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_WQ31iS2DY
The original dress has slits that allow even more options. I decided this was enough for me, but feel free to add them if you like.

What are you most proud of?

I just love clothes that work hard for me!
This dress is so easy to make: there is only one pattern piece, that is cut twice (back and front are identical).
No zipper, no elastic, no buttons. Just slip it over the head.
It can be tied in a number of ways, fitted or loose.
It can take you from morning at the office, to a stroll on the beach, and even a night out.
Made in light-weight jersey, it will make an excellent travel piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Follow the tutorial for taking your measurements. This is a recipe, you can make it to fit YOUR body.
