Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. This is the first painting where I have applied some of the techniques you taught in this class. I specialize in miniature fine art, so this is a "big" painting, measuring in at 8"x 10". I think it's almost done. I will let it sit a few days and figure out what else needs tweaking. It was fun taking this class and applying some of the process you use! Thank you!

Very nice work. Composition works well. Color, too. My crit would be to push values a bit more. Upper left above shells and around hook-eye of the compass. The contrast in lower left with weedless spoon needs some fine tuning. Was a bit hard to tell what it was at first. Lastly, maybe make the longer clear tape narrower like the shorter piece. My eye is drawn to the longer piece more than some of the other important pieces of the composition. Again, nice job :-)
