Hi Cheryl Ann - I actually used a vintage Vogue pattern, dated 1957, for this dress. I made it using the couture techniques I learned from the class. I purchased the pattern from an Etsy shop last year. I have found you can apply the couture techniques to just about any pattern, but it was helpful for me to make my first couture dress using the recommended pattern for the course.

Of course you'll wear it over and over. It's so versatile. Dress is up with jewelry, make it sporty with a scarf, or create a professional look by adding a jacket. I'm thinking, but I haven't come up with a way to make it suitable for biking or horseback riding yet. :-)
