Instructions
This was made using the accuquilt Go fabric cutter. I used the 6" tumbler block and created the wave pattern. I handpainted with fabric paint the muslin circles and appliqued them on top for the bubbles. I quilted concentric rings representing drops in the water for the quilting.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Ha ha....the swim team was having fundraisers like bottle drives and swim-a-thons - I would much rather make a quilt than drive around town collecting returnables, or ask the grandparents to sponsor a swim-a-thon So, I made this as a raffle quilt to use as a fundraiser for the local swim team - water, swimming, and an aversion to collecting returnables were the inspiration!
What are you most proud of?
Everyone seems to love this quilt and we are selling a LOT of raffle tickets - it is going to be a great fundraiser for the swim team.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Buy more fabric than you think you will need - the GO die that I used had basic instructions, which I decided to double to make the quilt larger, but I still ended up going back to the fabric store twice. I was lucky they still had the fabric and the die lots matched.
