What are you most proud of? I needed something to make my sister-in-law for her birthday and I was taking the Sewing Texture class at the time and thought she might like these cushions. So I got my husband to take some stealthy pictures of her loungeroom to find out what colours would work best and after that it all came together nicely.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The flowers get tedious! I could only do a few at a time before I'd have to stop and do something else. Also, I didn't have a pinking blade for my rotary cutter so instead of folding the strips for the flowers in half and half again like Vanessa shows, I folded the edges into the centre and then in half so the raw edges were encased in the middle of the strip. It was a little more difficult to control them when twisting, folding them this way but I'm happy with the outcome.
