What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a great beginner project in metal clay. The texture you get will depend totally on what shape of hammer you use, but all textures look lovely in silver!

Jenny, Can you stamp on the metal clay creations?

Yes, you can stamp when the clay is wet with rubber or metal. You can gently press a metal stamp into dried clay, or use it with a hammer on fired clay..

You certainly can! That is where a lot of the fun from working in metal clay comes from.. there is no limit to what you can use to texture the clay...commercial stamps, rocks, leaves, wood, anything. And then you can also make molds, and have the ability to make multiples. It's fabulous!

I like it very much!
