What was your inspiration?
I've been wanting to make these cookies for the longest time. I first saw them @ Bakerella.com and thought they were the cutest thing. The only thing that I was not so thrilled about is that she used fondant to make the topping...not sure they would taste that good. After taking Lauren's course I thought it would be a good idea to make them with modelling chocolate. I used Elisa Strauss' recipe "vanilla butter cookies" from her book Confetti Cakes....absolutely delicious.
