Crocheting: Table Top
11 kudoz

Table Top

Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:
Una Composicion Clasica (A Classical Composition) from'mym 22' (muestras y motivos) Spanish magazine

Instructions

This pattern requires an awful lot of concentration and distractions of any kind will result in mistakes, as I found out. Do it when you are ALONE and can give it your 100% of your brain!

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Retro / Vintage, Romantic, Classic, Traditional

Materials

Puppets Eldorado 100% cotton (100g)

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create something special, beautiful for a dear fellow crocheter in Connecticut.

What are you most proud of?

To be able to reciprocate in style to a very talented lady I've met through Twitter.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Do not get distracted. It's very easy to make a mistake on this project, which you'll only notice when you're on the next round (1 hour later). Give it your 100% concentration. Do it when you're alone. Buy at least 150g of the same cotton, as I ran out on mine half way through one but last round and had to dash to yarn shop again to finish last 2 rounds.

Are you back from your vacation? Did you find the pattern you might want to forward to me? (liz@eprice.ch). Thanks

Hello, I've just arrived this afternoon. I'll get my son to scan it for you and send it later.

Hello again. My son has replaced his laptop with an IMac and cannot use the scanner, as he doesn't have the software compatible with the IMac. I thought I could photocopy the pattern instead and send it to you by mail. If you wish, you can email me your address at: rosalesnaya.fatima8@googlemail.com

hi Fatima, I love your pattern. However, I have no access to the magazine. Could you share with me the chart - you find me also on Facebook

Thank you, eprice. I'm travelling through France at the moment and won't be back home till 20th April. The pattern is a home and I'll see if I can scan it and send it to you. It's an old magazine, so it should be ok. I'd hate to break any copy right laws!

It must be the long winter months that helps me be patient. Nothing better to do!

Another beautiful piece. I am sitting here trying to learn Tunisian lace and I see something like this. I cannot hold the size needle required for such delicate work. Oh well, I will keep at it.
