I live 'scrappy quilts' I like to take 'strips' that I tear off the end of new fabric purchases to 'square up' the fabric, and sew them together as I get them. Also add strips left over from other quilts. After a while, I have large pieces of 'pieced strip yardage' that I can cut into squares, triangles, hexagons, or whatever for scrappy pieced quilts. Some of the final results are really neat. I have even sewn in 'selvedge' strips in also. The possibilities are endless. Love your scrappy quilt!
